It has also been in this time that Molly has married George Darling and is raising three children: Wendy, John, and Michael. Back on Mollusk Island it seems as if not a day has gone by. With the starstuff enriching the island's water supply, not a person has aged a day and everyone is happy and healthy. Yet everyone's happiness appears to be threatened when suspicious behavior begins taking place in both London and Mollusk Island. Lost sailors have shown up on Mollusk Island and are very curious about the island's water supply. Back in London, people are disappearing and Molly wonders if starstuff has anything to do with these disappearances. And her suspicions are confirmed true when Molly herself disappears. Now it is up to Molly's young daughter Wendy to find Peter Pan and put together the puzzle pieces regarding her mother's and so many others' disappearances. Join Peter, Wendy, and the help of multiple other friends as these characters are reunited for one last time in the final hurrah against the Others and saving the world from evil. I didn't know what to expect when I first started reading these books. I was given "Peter and the Starcatchers" as a birthday gift from a friend, who claimed that these are her favorite books and that I would enjoy them, so when school got out I decided to give the book a chance. I was immediately surprised at how well the plot and story was written. I didn't even realize the story was centered upon the Disney character of Peter Pan until the end of the first novel. The writers have taken the essence of the character and story and then created a whole other story concerning how Peter Pan came to be. Therefore, these novels are definitely a must read for any Peter Pan or Disney fan and will please a wide age group. I am sad to see the story to have ended but, I really enjoyed reading these books while I did. Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson really out did themselves in each additional book by providing an active and engaging plot each time; not a single book is bad or the "boring one" of the series as each book presents a new story. Because of this, each book deserves 5/5 stars and are sure to be enjoyed by numerous more readers.
